Brisbane trip during Queen's Birthday weekend

We left Saturday evening...

We arrived BRISBANE... Mr. C went out with his mates.

Whilst I stayed home and spent time with my girl cousin, Lexie and later on,
my guy cousin, J who cooked a simple and yum fried yellow noodle dish for supper!

Creepy looking photo of moi...

Simple and seriously, yum!
People here say 'yum' and not 'yummy' but it feels incomplete without the 'y' bit!! urghh...

Monday morning, our flight was cancelled due to the Volcanic Ashes blowing from Chile. All Victorian Airports were closed and the earliest flight we could get our hands on was Wednesday... This is the kind of stuff you hear happening to other people... on the news but you never expect it to happen to you.

Forced to changed our flights rendering Mr. C having to take two days leave, I called J and told him the situation and asked him to come back and fetched us. His response?? "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I kid you not. That crazy fella squealed non-stop on the phone. *faint*

Anyways, we stayed additional two days meeting people and wandering about our beloved Brisbane city. It was a short trip but a good one.
